- Garlic – 3 to 4 cloves

- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Dry red chillies – 2 to 3 (adjust to spice level)

Main:
- Broccoli – 1 medium head, finely chopped
- Cooked rice – 1.5 cups (basmati or any preferred rice)
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Water – to sprinkle
Instructions
- Roast the Masala:
In a pan, dry roast peanuts, garlic, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and red chillies until aromatic. Turn off the flame and add sesame seeds. Mix well and let it cool. Grind this to a coarse powder.
- Prepare Broccoli:
In the same pan, heat a tablespoon of oil. Add the finely chopped broccoli.
(Tip: Smaller pieces are better for kids!)
Add salt, sprinkle a little water, cover, and cook for 1–2 minutes until slightly soft but still green and crunchy.
- Add Rice:
Add the cooked rice to the broccoli.
Try to keep broccoli and rice in equal proportions to make it healthier.
- Add Masala:
Add the ground masala powder to the broccoli-rice mixture. Mix everything well on low flame until evenly coated.
